The pre-season training sessions are to prepare lacrosse players for their upcoming spring/summer season. Each session will provide players with new concepts that will help them hit the ground running by the season’s first day.
Cost: $100
Dates: TBD (See Calendar for full details)
Times: Various - See Calendar for full details
Location: Dundas Dome
Group Breakdown
As noted above, this is 7th-12th grade. With this age range, we plan to divide the full dome into 3 fields. The fields will be split based on the following:
The Beginner/7th/8th Grade group will move at a slower pace to explain concepts in greater detail. This helps players that are still getting familiar with the game to be with a group that can learn at an appropriate pace.
The other two groups will be split based on experience that they have had playing high school. It is for the older and experienced players and will move at a faster pace.
The 3 groups will be roughly the same in numbers for spacing for the drills.
Session Plans
These are some key things we will be going over during the training sessions (not in order):
Fast breaks
Dodging
Even situations
Odd situations
Shooting
Defending
Positional
Game IQ
Ground Balls
Stick Skills
Fast-Paced Games
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Preseason Raider Lacrosse Youth Clinic . This clinic is available to kids going into the 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U seasons.
The clinic is held at the Dundas Dome: 6P-7P
This clinic is a great way to gain more experience before season practices begin. The more passing, catching, clamping, blocking, scooping and shooting the boys get, the farther along we'll be when the season starts!
